WINE TOURISM : A NEW ASSET FOR THE FRENCH
Wine and gastronomy are some great attractions for travel in many regions for tourist. France has always been a destination conducive to wine tourism.
The tourist offices, or vineyard owners so far not yet developed this promising sector, only allowing customers buying their wine cellars to visit. This is the Alsace who first developed this activity which is now very fashionable. In the Costières de Nîmes, a few areas are developed as nocturnal harvest at a time when the grapes begin to shiver in favor of dew. Getting up early, between 3 and 6 am is a common practice of there. This practice prevents oxidation and allows the grapes to keep all its flavors. In the early morning, when the sun rises, you are greeted by the winemaker at winery with snack of grape picker. The wines of the appellation:
Just like the Loire which flows at the foot of its soil, and powerful yet quiet, the Saumur-Champigny is a lively and beguiling wine. It is the red at all times both fruity and fleshy with a fine bouquet of red and black fruits.
