Radisson Blu by Carlson Rezidor is to Open 3 Hotels in North America
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group announced that between 2016 and 2017, they will open three Radisson Blue brand hotels, in which two hotels are in under construction in Colombia and one in Chile, which will undergo a transformation. The chain has over 50 hotels in Latin America.
“Radisson Blu has a global presence with more than 280 hotels in operation worldwide and we see great potential for the brand in Latin America, “said Javier Rosenberg, Chief Operating Officer(CEO) of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group to America.
During the first quarter of 2016, it is planned for the opening of Radisson Blu Santiago , La Dehesa ( Chile ), with 105 rooms and flexible event and meeting space. The hotel will operate by the name of Radisson Petra La Dehesa to be undergoing a transformation that includes improved rooms, common areas and food outlets. According to reports from the chain, the property also have full-service spa and health club.
Carlson Rezidor will open three hotels Radisson Blu in Chile and Colombia.
In Colombia, it will open by the name of the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa San Andrés and Santa Marta Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, both projects are under construction and is scheduled to inaugurate by the first quarter of 2016 and 2017 respectively.
The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa San Andres is being built on the island of San Andres and is a boutique hotel of 77 suites, each with its own private pool. The resort will have two restaurants, a pool bar and a large bar terrace overlooking the beach, among others, to what a full-service spa and gym adds.
While the Santa Marta Radisson Blu Resort & Spa will feature 190 rooms, two restaurants, one poolside and one theme, and a bar on the rooftop terrace. In turn, the complex will offer meeting space, spa and gym.
The brand Radisson Blue has a presence in 62 countries, in major cities and gateways airports and entertainment worldwide.
